In accordance with Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health regulated health professionals can, when all necessary precautions and protocols are in place to protect patients and themselves, begin providing wellness care. This includes both physiotherapy and massage therapy.
What our team is doing to keep you safe:
Top grade cleaning supplies and cleaning
Upon arrival and departure, your Massage Therapist will clean all supplies/surfaces with a top grade disinfectant.
RMT PPE
Your Massage Therapist will wear a mask during your massage. (Note: Some of our Massage Therapists have chosen to wear gowns/gloves as well)
RMT Screening
Your Massage Therapist will have a temperature check before starting each visit. Your Massage Therapist will also be required to complete the COVID-19 screening questions prior to each visit.
Mama Screening
Upon booking your appointment you will be required to complete the COVID-19 screening questions.
You will be contacted again within 24 hours of your appointment to complete the COVID-19 screening questions a second time to ensure no changes have been made. Please ensure that you keep an eye out for this email as it will be a requirement. (Note: You will also be required to send us your temperature.)
Changes to Your Massage
We will not be performing facial massage at this time and you will be required to wear a mask during your massage. You will be required to provide your own sheets for your massage.

Can my massage happen outside?
Yes! Actually, we highly encourage it. You can leave instructions upon booking and your Massage Therapist will happily be in accordance.
Why can’t I find any appointments available in my area?
This has been a difficult time for our team. Unfortunately, many of our Massage Therapists aren’t ready to return to work quite yet. We are currently operating at ¼ of our team capacity.
Please know, we are trying our best to fill as many requests as possible but in some areas, we are still waiting on our Massage Therapists to return to work.
Will there be a cancellation fee?
At this time we are waiving all cancellation fees in order to encourage transparency and to keep everyone safe.
Do I have to wear a mask in my own home?
Yes. In compliance with Health Canada guidelines, we kindly ask that you follow the protocol of wearing a mask during your appointment.
Why do I have to provide my own sheets?
This is a new procedure for us at Mama Mobile. We have decided to put this in place in order to keep you and your Massage Therapist safe by containing supplies as much as possible. Thank you for your understanding.
Why can I book a gua sha or facial massage?
At this time we do not provide facial massages. We feel that prolonged exposure by both parties without masks working in close proximity is not safe at this time. We will continue to update you as things change.
